Office Photography
A few photographs from an office location and some staff and director portrait photgraphs. All the "passport" photographs are posed and the smiles are gained by chatty talk and not by a request for a smile. The idea is to portray natural human behaviour but also professionalism and friendliness. To this end clothing is looked at, ties checked, a reminder for haircuts a week or so before the shoot and so on. There is much more to this sort of photography than lighting and clicking the shutter button. Engaging with the "model" and making them feel at ease is an important part of this exercise. This is a trick to achieving the final result.

With this sort of project around 20 photographs are taken in a 5-10 minute period and often the person chooses their favourite photograph.
